Lily Lu, CityLife: Ms. Lu is an experienced real estate professional. Prior to joining CityLife, Lily served as Marketing Manager of the CSSC Complex (China State Shipbuilding Corporation), which included high quality offices, serviced apartments, and retail. Under her leadership, she developed and implemented the marketing strategy for the Shanghai Shipyard area alteration and restoration plan, assisted in the sale of Martin Tower to Siemens, and worked with Ascott (Pudong) for their serviced apartment launch. Ms. Lu's other clients include Citibank and HSBC. Lily received a Masters Degrees from the University of Hertfordshire and the Macau University of Science and Technology.
Steve Liang, FIELDS: Prior to co-founding Fields, Steve was GM for Tongchu Foods, a Shanghai-based food distributor. He has worked in China for 8 years as a General Manager for various initiatives. Mr. Liang's formal training lies in the telecom and wireless communications field. He was formerly a consultant and engineering manager at UT Starcom in Hangzhou. While in the United States, Steve worked for Sprint and Nextel Communications, and at Nextel he led his sector to become the top performing area in the greater New York market. Steve received his MS in Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BS in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.
John Lee, Q-TZG Leasing: Mr. Lee is a 25-year veteran of the China and HK leasing market. Before joining QTL, Mr. Lee was board director and general manager of the New Century Finance Leasing Company, where he managed a RMB2.5 asset portfolio and was the architect behind the reformation of New Century. Prior to that, Mr. Lee served as the Vice President of Commercial Finance for the Associates Financial Services (Asia) Ltd. John earned a BA in industrial engineering from the University of Hong Kong, an MBA at University of Bradford (UK), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Hong Kong Law from City University of Hong Kong.
Tony Lo, Q-TZG Telecom: Mr. Lo has significant experience in venture capital investing, as well as market entry strategy and execution. Prior to joining TZG, Mr. Lo was a Partner with Celsius Capital, a China-focused firm investing in technology, media, and telecom sectors; Associate Partner with Mobius Venture Capital (formerly known as Softbank Venture Capital), and Associate with Advanced Technology Ventures. The latter two were both in Silicon Valley. Earlier in his career, Tony was General Manager of WKI Consulting, a joint venture with Sinotrust focused on market entry strategy for Global 2000 companies, in their Beijing office. Tony received a BS in industrial engineering from Stanford University.
Ted Zhong, Q-TZG Telecom: Mr. Zhong joined Q-TZG Telecom from Wasu, China's leading IPTV provider, where he served as Vice President. Ted boasts over ten years experience in the China's telecommunications industry, having had worked with firms such as China Netcom, Hangzhou Digital TV Corp, and other telecomm value-added services companies. He graduated from Zhejiang University with a degree in English and also studied at Shanghai University.
Yiwen Rong, TZGEV: Mr. Rong has experience in high-tech research and development, venture capital, and entrepreneurship. Prior to TZG, Mr. Rong was an associate at Accelon Capital, a cleantech private equity firm, where he focused on the solar, wind, smart grid, and energy storage sectors. Previously, Mr. Rong worked as an engineer at HP, focused on next generation computing devices, and also worked at Collinear Corporation, a laser display technology company. Mr. Rong received a BS degree in EE from the Harbin Institute of Technology, and his MS and PhD in EE from Stanford University.
Dawei Zhang, TZGEV: Mr. Zhang has experience in strategic consulting, corporate finance, and advanced technology research. Prior to TZG, Mr. Zhang was with McKinsey & Company, where he advised financial services and telecom clients in corporate strategy, governance, operations, and sales management. Before that, Mr. Zhang was involved in alternative energy and new materials research at Stanford and Tsinghua. He earned his MS in electrical engineering and MS in management science and engineering from Stanford University, as well as MS and BS in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University.
Junjie Wang, ZCI Leasing: Mr. Wang has many years of experience in commercial banking, strategic consulting, and private equity investing. Mr. Wang was formerly a director with Diverso, a boutique private equity firm specializing in renewable energy investments. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he led engagements in the areas of M&A, organization design, and risk management for a broad range of financial services clients. Before joining McKinsey & Company, Junjie was an Executive Vice President at HSBC China in corporate and project finance. He received his MBA from Duke University, and BA from Shanghai International Studies University.
